| Edging machines |
Our range of straight-line edging machines counts a huge number of models, divided into three major lines: the AL, the TL/AL M and the TLR/TLS series.
The AL range includes models of small-middle sized straight-line edging machines for the processing of flat edge with arris, with variable angle and peripheral straight-line edging machines from 4 up to 9 wheels.
The TL range includes models of middle-big sized straight-line edging machines for the flat edge with arris, with variable angle and peripheral straight-line edging machines from 9 up to 12 wheels.
Since a few years, having invested in Research & Development, we have started the production also of the AL M series which represents a renewal of the TL edging machines. Thanks to the use of new technologies we have managed to bring down the prices keeping the main parts of the machine and so without disadvantaging the product quality. In detail the AL M range includes middle-sized straight-line edging machines with 9 or 10 wheels for the processing of the flat edge with arris or with variable angle.
The TLR range, which is the most used by the major producers of stratified glass for the heavy building industry in the Northern Europe, is addressed to all glaziers with huge production of glasses with a great thickness.
As all other Adelio Lattuada models, these machines can be personalised through a wide range of options, in order to be “custom made”.
The TLR series for the processing of flat edge with arris includes models from 13 to 15 wheels, while the variable angle models are available from 11 to 16 wheels.
At last the TLS range, which represents an evolution of our well-known TLR edging machines’ series.
Thanks to some structural changes, mainly linked to the application of new pads (220 mm long instead of the previous 195 mm) and toughened guides (220 mm high instead of the previous 200 mm), the models composing this range can carry glass sheets with a weight up to 1.500 Kg.
The TLS series includes models from 13 up to 16 wheels in order to offer different solutions, among which also the possibility to process glasses with a thickness up to 100 mm.
The TLS edging machines, as well as all other Adelio Lattuada models, offer an optimal duration/cost ratio. This is a very important characteristic that is always fundamental for glassworks because of their need of machines with a long working life. In fact, there are Lattuada machines still working after 20 years and with up to two million metres processed, while the average working life is normally about five to six years if quality and production levels have to be maintained.
